Ford’s Response to 2014 Ford Focus Transmission. Ford has issued more than 20 service bulletins related to the PowerShift transmission (under code DPS6). The vehicle’s powertrain warranty was also extended in 2014, to seven years or 100,000 miles. Note that the seven-year extended warranty will expire in 2021.
