Turn key and nothing happens but lights work.

There is power to the cigarette lighter/power port. The interior light works fine. The lights won't go on. Nothing works at the control panel on the left nor the turn key on the right. Both completely dead. I looked at all the connections to the control panel and turn key and they are all good. All the wiring everywhere in the cab looks good.This happens a lot when deleted trucks run a tune that isn't set up for deletes. It can also happen if any of the sensors in the exhaust are messed up. I would start with looking for a "kill" switch under your dash somewhere. there are common to keep mechanics from losing fingers. disconnect all batter cables, clean posts, clean terminals, make SURE you do the cross over cable too.

Usually new ignition switch, will not have the key insert with it, you insert that, into the new switch. You might need a new key insert, for your switch, that wiggling, kinda indicates that.
