Today we’re announcing two new features to help give people more information about Instagram outages and their account status, directly in the app.
Toggle the Allow Notifications tab to give the app permission. Android users can use the following steps: Go to your device Settings and tap Apps . Search Instagram and press Notifications . Turn on the Show notifications option. Restart the Instagram app by removing it from the background.Reboot your phone: It’s an old trick, but a good one. If an app isn’t running correctly or your phone seems “sluggish,” try rebooting and charging the device. Remember to wait a few seconds before turning it back on.
